Rodd Chant
- Creative Director (Writer based with an Art Director's eye)

Rodd Chant is a Creative Director based in New York City.

In August 2007, Rodd left his position as Executive Vice President/Executive Creative Director of Foote Cone & Belding (FCB), New York.

At FCB, Rodd was a member of the Operating Board and oversaw the entire creative output for all mainstream brand work, for clients such as Diet Coke, Kraft, Nabisco, American Standard, CA (formerly Computer Associates), Starbucks, Jamaica Tourism, Milk Bone, Home Depot/Citi Mastercard, Citizens Crime Commission Of NYC, Greenpeace and the International Rescue Committee.

He was also an integral part of integrating the entire creative department at FCB, assisting in breaking down the silo’s that traditionally exist between the various creative departments (brand, interactive, direct).

Accolades won during his tenure at FCB included Cannes, Communication Arts, London International, ADDY and One Show.

Prior to joining FCB, Rodd was the Executive Creative Director of Publicis, Singapore, responsible for such clients as Renault, P&G, Loreal, Hewlett-Packard, Durex, Scholl and Mazda.

Rodd has over 16 years experience in advertising and has also worked for McCann-Erickson (Sydney), BBDO (Singapore) and Batey Ads (Singapore).

Client have also included – Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Levi’s, Pioneer Car Audio, Hitachi, Pizza Hut, Visa, Mastercard, Nestle, Bayer, Reckitt & Benckiser, Singapore Tourism, OCBC Bank, Allianz Insurance, Fidelity, ING Private Banking.

Rodd has won a number of industry awards during his career – Cannes, London Internationals, Communication Arts, ADDY, One Show, New York Festivals, Mobius.

In 2002, Rodd founded the independent creative shop BORN, based in Sydney Australia, with clients in Australia, Asia and the USA. BORN was created as a hybrid, working for clients and agencies alike, as well as Directing TV commercials.

BORN clients included – Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, Raffles International, Tic Tac, Ferrero, P&G and Ministry Of Sound. Rodd left BORN in January 2005 to join Publicis.

Away from advertising, in his spare time, Rodd likes to stay creatively busy. He is currently writing a film script, a book, dabbling in his long time love of music, designing a range of t-shirts and working on his first exhibition of paintings.

Prior to leaping into advertising Rodd was in the music business both on-stage and off, as a bass player, tour manager, studio recording engineer, stage technician and concert lighting designer/director. He also had a foray into fashion with his own clothing label (JOOSE) at the ripe old age of 19.
